Cape Verdeans of Southern California, is a Non-Profit Organization serving the Cape Verdean communities in the Greater Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego Counties areas.
How it all began...
The organization began when a small group of people held a meeting on November 14, 1982. Their purpose was to determine how many Caboverdianos lived in the Greater Los Angeles area, and to discuss the possibility of establishing their own group.
Now, over twenty-five years later, the Cape Verdeans of Southern California has grown into a highly effective organization contributing to the advancement of fellow Caboverdianos throughout Southern California and the Diaspora. Supported solely by its Membership and local supporters of Cape Verdean and Non-Cape Verdean Ancestry.
