How it Started…
A small group of people met on November 14, 1982 with the purpose to determine how many Caboverdianos lived in the Greater Los Angeles area. The group was born from this first meeting.

Over thirty-five years later, the Cape Verdeans of Southern California has grown into a highly effective organization contributing to the advancement of fellow Caboverdianos throughout Southern California and the Diaspora. Supported solely by its Membership and local supporters of Cape Verdean and Non-Cape Verdean Ancestry.
